Syan aka MC Yan

Syan aka MC Yan, the graffiti artist and rapper, enjoys to push boundaries by involving high risk practices like graffiti with spirituality, in order to bring about a new form of consciousness to his viewers. He draws hypnotic lines and shapes on card while chanting, like a vinyl record being pressed. He then packages it as an “Visual Energy Package”, which also comes with a rainbow cube which visitors can use as a magnifying glass on his drawings. While gazing at these drawings, Syan hopes the viewer will be entranced in a meditative state.

He guides the viewer to observe the artwork while being immersed in his chants and soundbath. With this practice, Syan hopes that it will induce inner eye opening and enlightenment within viewers.
